Custom Design Terms

By placing your order with Chocolate Covered Design Studio, you are accepting all the terms and conditions found on this site.

Business Hours:
Monday - Friday 3pm - Midnight
Some Saturday and Sundays

I am always available via email, all day long.

Email/Communication
Design is a process that takes prompt communication by client and designer.  I strive to give my clients the special attention they deserve through their entire design process.  All communication will be done through email.  If, we are working on your design and I do not hear back from you within 72 hours, your project may be put back on my wait list and I have to reschedule for another date.

Payment
All payment on custom design work will be done through PayPal.  I require full payment on all Blogger Custom Design. 
Wait List
Due to the high demand of custom design, there is a wait list.  It is on a first come, first serve basis.  Once your full payment has been paid, then you will be placed on the wait list.

Time Frame
Once you have paid your payment in full and submitted the questionnaire, I will schedule you on my calendar.  I will notify you via email for an expected start date.  When I am ready to start your project, you can expect it to take about 3 weeks from start to finish.  Normally, it doesn't take that long, however, it is important that we keep in constant email communication to keep the process moving along smoothly.

Back Up
Prior to the start of the installation, you will be responsible for backing up your site, not only of information but also of blog template.  In case something does happen, please note that Chocolate Covered Designs is not reponsible for anything lost, due to improper back up of your site.

Revisions
I want you to love your design.  I am willing to make 3 revisions free of charge until you are happy.  However ,if your requests seem excessive and taking time from my next clients on the wait list, I will give you notice that you will be charged my $40/hour fee for anymore revisions on your design.

Refunds
No Refunds.  If Chocolate Covered Designs terminates a design, then the full deposit, less any PayPal fees will be refunded.  There will be no other refunds issues due to the creative nature of design services.

Copyright
Chocolate Covered Designs requires that the design be kept intact and unaltered after installation.

The unique designed for your specific blog is not to be used on multiple sites.  It is to be used only for one site.  You may choose to purchase the rights to the design.

If you would like to make changes to the design after installation, whether with another designer or yourself, please contact Chocolate Covered Designs to get written permission.  If you do not wish to pay for the rights, then you MUST start with a completely new design.

Credits
After installation of design there will be a small button from Chocolate Covered Designs on the sidebar and also a credit on the footer of the blog.  These MUST stay in place during the use of the design made by Chocolate Covered Designs. 

Support
After installation of the design, you will have 1 hour of support to go over any concerns or questions you may have.  After the 1 hour is up, you may choose to purchase additional time at my hourly rate of $40/hour.

Browsers
Chocolate Covered Designs cannot guarantee that your design will be compatible with older outdated browsers. 

Portfolio
With a design by Chocolate Covered Designs you allow your site to be in our portfolio.  Unless, otherwise stated in prior agreement.
